My name is Chelsea Colbert. I am the owner of Joyhelpers. I started Joyhelpers as a business, but it is more of a ministry to me. Even at a young age, I have always wanted to start my own business. In 2015, while reading my Bible, God brought me to 2 Corinthians 1:24. This verse says, “Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.” As I was reading this verse, God shared the name Joyhelpers with me. At the time, I didn’t know what God wanted me to do. I prayed for many years. I even tried to start another business before this one, but the whole time, God was still dealing with me about starting Joyhelpers. Finally, at the beginning of 2023, I decided to step out on faith, and start Joyhelpers. I chose to sell surprise T-shirts because a good surprise brings joy into a person’s life, and who doesn’t like a good graphic T-shirt? My main goal with this ministry is to share the love of Christ with others and encourage everyone to be a help and blessing to someone every day. Not only do I want to use this ministry as a platform to encourage each one of you to be a Joyhelper in your community, but 25% from each sale will also go to help a nonprofit/ministry. A different nonprofit/ministry will be chosen each quarter, and a one-time donation will be given at the end of that quarter. I also want to promote each nonprofit/ministry and encourage volunteering if you live in the area in which it serves. My hope is for every person to know Christ as their personal Savior.
